Elise is Stresemann's hard-nosed agent and business manager. Aided by her bodyguard Oliver she kidnapped Chiaki in volume 11 and forced him to sign with her agency too. She is not above trickery or aggressive methods to ensure the success of her clients, often forcing them to endure demanding schedules.
After Nodame's successful performance with Stresseman, she immediately forced her to sign a contract with her agency. In Opera-Hen, she began assigning Chiaki with small job offers and a tour to various orchestras in America while assigning Nodame to high class job offers such as a performance with New York Philarmonic Orchestra.
